"Nocturnes" is a live recording, the first with drummer Elliott Sansom and features no keyboards or backing tracks, just the doom rock essence of Rainshadow stripped back and genuine.

'Omega' and 'Frost Bite' can originally be found on the 'End Songs' album.
'Exit Wounds', 'Melancholy Redux' and 'Imperfect Wave' can originally be found on the 'Waters Imperium' album.

All songs written by Ben Williamson except 'Deep' which was written by Daniel Cavanagh, Dave Pybus and Vincent Cavanagh and originally recorded by Anathema.
